Mission. Vision. Values.
Mission:
To provide high-quality, compassionate, and competent biblical counseling services so that God is glorified and people are truly helped.
Vision:
For Jesus to be known and cherished as the superior help for life’s most challenging problems.
Values:
I am committed to a counseling approach that is biblically-grounded, clinically-informed and church-partnering.
Biblically-Grounded
I use a biblical framework to view and understand life, people, and problems. My continual aim in counseling is to help individuals meaningfully connect to Christ and his gospel and to experience personal heart transformation. I counsel from an orthodox evangelical Christian understanding of the Bible.
Clinically-Informed
I am knowledgeable of and discerningly use insights from psychology and the clinical mental health field. I see people as both body and soul and seek to understand and address both the physical and spiritual components of people in my care.
Church-Partnering
I believe in the local church as vitally important for people’s care and transformation. Therefore I seek to partner with like-minded churches to collaboratively care for people whom they refer to me for counseling. I also encourage my counselees to seek connection with a local church as one of God’s means of care and change for them.
