Laura Hope

Milbourne, MS, MA

I am the primary counselor and owner of Laura Hope Counseling. Additionally, I serve as an adjunct professor in the Biblical Counseling Department at Boyce College.

As a counselor, I am committed to providing high-quality, compassionate and competent biblical counseling. I offer a unique blend of over a decade of experience in professional counseling and a high commitment to the Bible as the framework and content for my counsel. My area of focus is specialized counseling services for girls and women.

I consider it an honor and privilege to come alongside people in their pain.

My Story

Over a decade ago, when I was just starting a career in counseling, I prayed “Lord teach me about your healing, I want to be a part of it.” Since that time God has greatly answered that prayer.

I have had the great privilege of sitting with countless hundreds of people in their brokenness and pain, many of whom have been diagnosed with a list of complex mental health disorders, who have been in and out of the mental health system and in counseling for much of their lives, and whom have lost hope for real healing or change. I have also witnessed with my own eyes, broken people, many of whom the world would say are without hope for change, be radically transformed through the power of God’s word and meaningfully connecting with Jesus in their pain.

God has proven himself to me that Christ, his gospel and his view of the world are really the richest, deepest and most transformative help out there. Even for mental health. Even for life’s most challenging problems. It is for this reason that I have a passion and commitment for providing counseling that is high-quality, compassionate, competent and distinctively biblical.
